Building & Infrastructures Stress & Resilience Test according to EN 50600
I have known the experts of SyBiz SA, telecommunications and aeronautical engineers, experts in technical infrastructures (electricity, telecommunications, HVAC), since 2021, the year in which the project to prepare for the test of a power outage on one of the two uninterruptible power supply lines of the Air Navigation building in Geneva was launched.
This project mobilized more than 80 engineers for over two years, responsible for all the systems implemented to ensure air safety in eight areas: radio communications, radar communications, telephone communications, the HVAC system, the electrical system, physical security, fire safety, and the supervision and control of air navigation aid systems.
SyBiz experts thus verified the integrity of the electrical connections of the equipment, structured the risk analysis, anticipated the building's behavior in the event of a power outage on one of the two uninterrupted lines, implemented connection modifications when possible, and documented the building's behavior in real time when each uninterrupted line was cut. He also wrote a clear, precise, and comprehensive report on the technical feedback from the implementation of the power outage test, highlighting the critical residual risks to the various systems.
SyBiz's methods and expertise were particularly useful to the company's management and our teams in better understanding the behavior of the systems in the event of degraded operation and in planning the work to be carried out to make the building and the air navigation system more resilient to failures. I highly recommend SyBiz to any institution seeking expertise in the securing of complex infrastructures.
